i was just a little girl back in a small town in munoz, manila, when i first heard ms. didith reyes songs, particularly this one, ” BAKIT AKO MAHIHIYA?’, iam now in phx, Az, USA, got six kids, and nursing student at phx college, but i’m still longing to hear the divine ms. reyes singing her songs. i know that she is no longer with us, may GOD bless her soul, tao lang siya, tulad natin nagkakamali. my american kids heard me sing her songs, and my daughter really likes it. especially, when i clicked on alma moreno’s movie with the same title. all i can say is, ms. reyes had a wonderful, passionate and very mysterious voice na talagang nakaka gising ng puso. sayang , i cannot even congratulate her. but more power sa iyo, kabayan ko.
